The 18th annual Grant County Kruzers Show 'n Shine will take place Saturday, August 3rd 2013 from 9am to 3pm at the City Park in Prairie City Oregon. Attractions of the show include a charming park in a small, quiet town, with a backdrop of spectacular Strawberry Wilderness. Breakfast at City Hall, Show 'n Shine. Music from the past! Also included, a poker walk through downtown Prairie City, and door prizes throughout the day. Trophies/plaques in all classes. Tentative Schedule of Events: 7:30-10:30 Breakfast by the FFA (Future Farmers) 9:00-11:00 Check-in and registration at City Park 10:00-2:00 Poker Walk around city merchants 11:30-2:00 BBQ by the Girls Basketball Team 2:00 turn in poker hands and car show ballots 3:00 prizes and announcements Door prize drawings throughout the day Classes: Best of Show First and second prize in each: 1939 and older car 1940-1948 car 1949-1959 car 1960-1969 car 1970-1979 car 1980 and older convertible 1959 and older truck and utility 1960 and newer truck and utility Teen Owned Additional Classes: 1980 and newer car (1 trophy) Furthest traveled ($25 prize) Registration fee: $15 per car "early bird" and $20 per car after July 20 Includes "goodie bag", dash plaque, and poker walk entry. Must have proof of insurance and be 18 years of age or accompanied by an adult. Schedule and car classes subject to change. Please be sure to check back in late spring.

Money raised by the Grant County Kruzers (from car shows and other activities) is used to encourage an interest in automobile mechanics among young people in our area, by making donations for tools and supplies to local shop classes.
